From Huntington-Belle Haven Patch:

State Sen. Toddy Puller (D-36) and Adam Ebbin (D-30) and Del. Scott Surovell (D-44) held a town hall meeting at the Mount Vernon Government Center last Saturday. Transportation was a hot topic at the meeting, notably traffic caused by BRAC at Fort Belvoir.

From Fort Hunt Patch:

Fairfax County police believe they have identified the teens involved in a string of burglaries in the Fort Hunt area over the last few weeks.

The Islamic Circle of North America mosque is set to open in April.

From Mount Vernon Patch:

Construction on the new Costco Wholesale at the site of the former Mount Vernon Multiplex Cinemas will begin as early as this summer. The demolition permit will be issued in the next 30 to 60 days, says Jeff McKay, Lee District Supervisor.
